You're Invited!

Hello! I want to invite you all to start sending me your Christmas submissions, now. I hope to have a collage of favorite Christmas traditions, memories, carols,  pictures, recipes, poems, crafts, anything you want to share that involves Christmas! We've done this in the past and have never been disappointed.

My website has been on the back burner for the last year because of school, but I graduate in the fall and am eager to start writing, sharing ideas, and featuring artists again on Tangible Inspirations. Email me  with your submissions! I look forward to hearing from you!

Examples of submissions: Favorite Christmas cookie recipe, favorite childhood memory, a picture of your Chrismas decor, a favorite ornament, etc.

Craft ideas are welcome too!

Can't wait to see what you send me!

Happy 64th Anniversary Mom and Dad!

September 17th, 2014 marks 64 years of a beautiful life together for my parents, Dean and Ellen Davis.  For me, it means celebrating not only their anniversary, but the gifts they have given to all who have the privilege of knowing them:  joy, faith, love, kindness.  Thank you Mom and Dad, for always being there for us, for living out your faith in God and in doing so, teaching us that the most important thing is a relationship with Him, and thank you for a lifetime of friendship.

They taught them lessons of the heart and soul,

Laugh and love and live life to the full.

Always forgive and forget

'Cause that's a part of love,

And every good thing is from God above.

That small town river boy,

And the gal with the warm brown eyes,

Together they would laugh and love

Sharing life together and it's all because that

Small town river boy

Saw a light in her warm brown eyes.

He asked her out-

She made him laugh-

That was the start of love that lasts.

Sharing life together and it's all because that

That was the start of love that lasts.

College boy looked across the room

Saw her eyes and she saw him too-

But she played hard to get,

Made him work for the part.

It wasn't long until he won her heart.

He was a blue eyed Romeo,

Asked her to join him in a cup o joe

And she made him laugh-

That's when it all began.

Soon after they were walkin' hand in hand.

That small town river boy,

Saw a light in her warm brown eyes.

He asked her out-

She made him laugh-

That was the start of love that lasts.

They became the best of friends and knew

They loved each other so they said "I do",

Takin' life day by day,

Makin' memories,

Raising a happy little family.
